If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
These Terms govern public, informational, and demonstration use only. They do not govern any future clinical, institutional, or contractual deployment of GeneGenius, which would be subject to separate agreements.
2. What GeneGenius Is (and Is Not)
What GeneGenius Is: GeneGenius provides informational content about genomic evidence synthesis, demonstrations of methodology using curated, publicly available data, and educational material for prospective partners, researchers, and institutions. The Services are intended to communicate capability and approach, not to deliver clinical services.
What GeneGenius Is Not: GeneGenius does not provide medical advice, diagnoses or treatment recommendations, replace clinical judgment, accept or process patient data on the public site, or function as a clinical decision-making system.
Nothing on the website or demo should be interpreted as medical guidance or used in patient care.
3. No Medical or Clinical Use
The Services are not intended for clinical use. You agree that you will not rely on the Services for medical decisions, will not use the Services to interpret patient data, and will not represent GeneGenius as a clinical or diagnostic tool.
Any future clinical use would require institutional authorization, validation, regulatory consideration, and separate written agreements.
4. Data Sources and Demonstrations
Any variant examples, evidence summaries, or classifications shown are based on publicly available databases (e.g., ClinVar), are provided for demonstration and educational purposes only, and do not represent live analysis or patient-specific interpretation.
GeneGenius makes no claim that demo outputs are complete, current, or suitable for real-world decision-making.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to attempt to submit patient data or personal health information, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Services, represent demo content as clinical output, or use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
GeneGenius reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, text, visuals, software concepts, and methodologies displayed through the Services are the property of GeneGenius or its licensors.
You may: View and share content for informational purposes.
You may not: Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content for commercial use, present GeneGenius materials as your own, or use GeneGenius branding without permission.
7. No Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."
GeneGenius makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access.
Use of the Services is at your own discretion and risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeneGenius shall not be liable for any medical, clinical, or professional decisions made using the Services, any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, opportunity, or business arising from use of the Services.
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.

The Services may reference or link to third-party databases, publications, or resources.
GeneGenius does not control these third parties, does not endorse their content, and is not responsible for their accuracy or availability. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk.
10. Privacy
Use of the Services is also governed by the GeneGenius Privacy Policy, which explains what data is collected, what data is not collected, and how information is handled.
The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to These Terms
GeneGenius may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which GeneGenius operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
GeneGenius is built for high-trust environments. These Terms exist to set clear boundaries, prevent misuse, and protect users, institutions, and GeneGenius itself.
